The Lexington Shakespeare Institute serves high school students in grades 9 through 12 and acts as an advanced training ground for future theatre artists. Students will study movement, acting, auditioning and voice. As a preparation for college literature and theatre study, students will study and perform Shakespeare.
The LSF Intern Program serves students in grades 6 through 8 and prepares students for the stage by introducing them to the works of William Shakespeare as well as theatre techniques.
The Lexington Shakespeare Festival and the University of Kentucky have combined efforts to create an educational environment to Make A Change in the lives of young adults with the development of the Lexington Shakespeare Institute.
