Fall Creek Vineyards celebrates the 2003 grape harvest with the 14th Annual Grape Stomp and Harvest Festival, Saturday, August 16 and Saturday August 23, 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. both days.
Grape stomping, while watching the I Love Lucy-Italian Movie video, tours of the state-of-the-art winery, wine tasting and live music are complimentary. Guests are invited to enjoy themselves at what Southern Living Magazine termed in the April, 2003 issue, an exemplary example of a grape stomping festival. Picnic food will be available for purchase both Saturdays on Fall Creek Vineyards’ courtyard.
This year’s Festival will again offer lively cooking demonstrations/tasting lunches with David Garrido, Jeffrey’s in Austin, Jason K. Felton of Epicurean Express, Fredericksburg and Ken Rubin of the Texas Culinary Academy, Austin, entertaining guests while they demonstrate cooking techniques. Cost is $19.95 per person, wine and gratuity included. Seating is limited and reservations are required. Please call 325-379-5361 for reservations and information.
The Vanishing Texas River Cruise will be offering boat rides on beautiful Lake Buchanan from our shoreline both Saturdays (lake levels and weather permitting). Tickets for the boat ride are $5.00. A Castle Bounce, Face Painting and lots of family fun will be available.
